In this role, you'll work closely with technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects from requirement collection to final implementation for customers. You’ll drive project coordination, keep timelines on track, foster clear communication, and contribute to refining processes and driving continuous improvement.

This role is open to candidates based anywhere in Germany in a remote-friendly setup. We also value in-person collaboration and bring the team together at least once per quarter in Heidelberg for company-wide workshops.

Your mission

  • Engagement: establish strong relationships with engineering teams, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related communication
  • Dependencies & Priorities Management: Oversee dependencies and the impact of shifting priorities. Collaborate with teams to shape the roadmap and refine ideas into clear project stages
  • Resource Management: coordinate project resources and timelines, including internal experts and third-party vendors
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, resourcing gaps, timeline issues and take action to fix problems and keep the project on track
  • Documentation: Keep comprehensive, organized records - project plans, templates, status reports, and change logs - and use them to improve processes and support growth

Your profile

  • 5+ years in project management, including direct involvement in a technical role (QA, DevOps, or Development) for at least 2 years
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects with an emphasis on IT infrastructure/Cloud
  • Good understanding of SDLC and their application in a moving startup environment
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and CI/CD process
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Ability to manage teams amid shifting priorities and evolving requirements
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience working with AI infrastructure, distributed systems, or large-scale compute environments
  • Familiarity with LLM-based systems, data pipelines, or ML/AI workloads
